Mini Update Sticky Post: December 19, 2018 Reading from the CanLit prizelists was keeping me busy, as was Margaret Atwood Reading Month,But now I’m reading Jenny Han’s To All the boys I’ve Loved Before and Barbara Kingsolver’s Unsheltered. For a bookish slant, I’m finally reading Nina Sankovitch’s Tolstoy and the Purple Chair. For a trashish slant, I’ve got Grace Metallious’ Petyon Place at the ready. And I’m tired of missing out on Celeste Ng, so I’ve got her within reach as well.
Exploring my grandmother’s copies of Mazo de la Roche’s Jalna stories. (I’ve finished reading the 16th and final volume.)
How about you: what are you reading these days, and what are you looking forward to reading soon?
